Senior Executive – Purchase (Ingredients division)

About the Role

As part of our ongoing business expansion, AARAV is looking to strengthen its Procurement function for the Ingredients division.

We are looking for professionals with experience in procurement of raw materials, packing materials, engineering items, and a background in R&D or the chemical industry Project based buying Iron and Steel/Process Equipment /Instrumentation /Equipment/Spares etc., to join our growing team.

What You’ll Do

  • Independently handling procurement of Raw material, Intermediates, Job work
  • Follow up, packing materials and Engineering Stores requirement as well as projects.
  • Float the enquiry for Raw materials (with central SCM), Intermediates, Job work (Production Team), packing materials, Inter Unit Transfers (with central SCM/Fragrances & Flavors Production), R & D & Lab Chemicals
  • Collect, study, Negotiate the quotations and get further approval.
  • Negotiation with different suppliers/vendors.
  • Issue the ERP Based Purchase Order as per procurement.
  • Taking Follow-up for all incoming material.

 

  • Communicate with suppliers, job workers and internal customers.
  • Arranging samples for Raw materials/Intermediates as per required specifications.
  • Vendor development for RM/Intermediates/Job work /Engineering and other materials.
  • Import Documentation – Preparation of LC
  • Making SO in ERP Module for selling material.
  • Preparation of SOP of processes of Procurement at Site.
  • Preparation of Reports related to Purchase.
  • Coordinate with accounts & SCM for vendor payments.
  • Maintaining Stocks in co-ordination with Stores/Production/Division Head
